Podcasts are a pretty big deal right now. They allow us to consume content without having to look at a screen and can be listened to while on the go. 

In honour of International Women's Day on March 8th here's our top 5 female empowering podcasts that you definitely need to add to your favourites! 

1. The Michelle Obama Podcast

Michelle Obama never fails to inspire and empower with her words. From her speeches as former First Lady of the United States to her 'Becoming' documentary on Netflix. In her weekly podcast Obama is in conversation with a variety of incredible guests about mentorship, marriage and friendship.

A must-listen for female teachers everywhere! Hosted by Monica Genta, 'This Teacher Life' podcast discusses all of the highs and lows of what it takes to be a teacher in today's world. Monica discusses everything from tips and tricks to teacher strategies.

4. The Guilty Feminist

With over 95 million downloads since its launch back in 2016, 'The Guilty Feminist', isn't just a podcast but more of a global phenomenon. Host, Deborah Frances-White, welcomes special guests as they discuss  topics "all 21 first century feminists agree on" while confessing their insecurities, hypocrisies and fears that underlie their lofty principles.

5. Adulting

Described as a podcast that's trying to figure out all of those topics that weren't covered in school.
